Participation in online auctions
To participate (place bids) in an online auction, registration is required, followed by logging in to the auction platform using the username and password provided during registration.
More information about registration can be found here: Registration process
How to place a bid
Bidding can be done on the auction page under the Item List section by clicking on the desired item. Use the “Quick bid” button to submit your offer. If you wish to place a higher bid that skips the normal bid increment, select this option.
You can also set up automatic bidding, where you enter your maximum bid. The system will then automatically place bids on your behalf up to the specified amount, but no further, and only as needed (it will not be outbid unnecessarily).
To prevent accidental bids that could create a payment obligation, you must confirm your bid by clicking the “Submit bid” button.
We recommend not bidding in the last seconds. To ensure fair chances for all participants, an anti-sniping rule applies: if a bid is placed within 5 minutes of the item closing, the closing time is automatically extended by 5 minutes. This gives everyone the opportunity to respond and place a higher bid, preventing timing manipulation.
For automatic bids: if two bidders submit the same maximum amount, the first one to submit wins.
Bidders receive email notifications about being outbid, but we recommend monitoring the auction platform, especially near closing times. The system automatically sends an email to the winning bidder once the auction ends.
What is the payment deadline for a won item?
To ensure that our buyers can take possession of their purchased items as quickly as possible, the proforma invoice is issued on the day the auction closes, with a 1-day payment deadline. Please only place a bid if you can meet this 1-day payment requirement.
The prices listed on the site are net prices, and the following additional costs will be applied to each item: buyer’s premium and VAT. The exact amounts are indicated for each individual item.
Can I view the items available in the online auction in person?
In the vast majority of our auctions, interested parties are given the opportunity to inspect the items in person (at the date and time indicated before the auction closes — see the On-site inspection section under Auction Information on the auction page). Please note that buyers cannot exercise a withdrawal right when purchasing online.
Pre-registration is always required to view the items. You must log in to your account and click the designated button to register for the inspection. A few days before the scheduled time, registered participants will receive an email with all necessary details, including the exact location, contact person, and their contact information.
We wish you successful bidding!
