We conclude customized agreements with our clients, designed to meet even the most specific requirements. Our goal is to establish long-term, successful partnerships.

After the initial contact, our corporate asset management consultants use their knowledge and experience to help determine which redundant assets are most likely to achieve strong sales results at auction. Our experts assess the items to be sold, take the necessary photographs, and then our valuation team prepares detailed appraisals and compiles the auction list.

Based on the list approved by the client, Intergavel launches the online auction on its website, which typically runs for 3–4 weeks. According to the contract, the seller must provide at least one opportunity for physical asset inspection before each auction closes. This is important not only from a legal standpoint but also to strengthen potential buyers’ confidence.

It is essential to note that Intergavel not only participates in the assessment of items and provides the technical conditions for the auction, but also carries out extensive marketing activities targeting potential users and relevant buyer groups to stimulate demand.

Valuation

A key part of Intergavel Ltd.’s comprehensive services is asset valuation, which we perform as an integral part of every corporate auction process, but it is also available as a standalone service upon request.

With experience from over 2,000 successful auctions, Intergavel’s team of valuation experts can realistically determine the price that an asset truly represents.

Valuation is important not only for anticipating auction results. It also helps market participants make informed decisions regarding a company’s future, such as modernization, expansion, relocation, or other strategic steps affecting the business.

During the valuation process, we take into account market demand — how sought-after the asset is — as well as its condition and potential transportation costs.

Valuation related to transfer pricing

Transfer pricing is a critical aspect of corporate finance and international taxation, receiving close attention from tax authorities.

Typically, transfer pricing documentation must be prepared by subsidiaries of international corporate groups, companies engaged in cross-border transactions, or businesses conducting multiple high-value related-party transactions annually, to demonstrate that transactions are conducted at arm’s length.

While setting routine, recurring product-related transfer prices is relatively straightforward thanks to established methodologies, determining transfer prices for non-routine, fixed assets is a process for which most affiliated companies are not prepared.

Closed auctions

Intergavel, as a regional corporate auction house, also organizes closed auctions for clients upon request. The main feature of these auctions is that participation is restricted exclusively to legal entities or even private individuals designated by the client, such as employees or selected partners, with the entire process managed by Intergavel.

For closed auctions, we provide a comprehensive service covering everything from asset assessment and auction list preparation to setting starting bids or fixed prices, as well as providing the online auction platform. This service also includes handling all financial and invoicing tasks.

It is common for companies to sell or distribute certain replaced assets (used office furniture, electronic equipment, or even company vehicles) among their employees, but handling this internally can easily lead to conflicts. Our online auctions take place on dedicated subpages of our website, accessible only after approved registration and login, where all the features and convenience services available in our regular auctions are fully supported.

For example, it is possible to set restrictions so that one user can win only one item, and it can also be specified whether items are sold for a price or distributed for free.

Technology division – Machinery installation and removal

Our Technology Division’s skilled and experienced team is ready to handle machinery installation and removal.

Clients can request this service as part of the auction process: our colleagues will smoothly carry out the disassembly of machines to be auctioned or the safe installation of a won item (note: commissioning is not included).

Pricing of our services

On-site assessment daily rate: €450 + VAT per person per day
Charged in full-day increments, with a minimum of one day.

Travel fee: €0.50 + VAT per km
Calculated based on the round-trip distance via road between Intergavel Ltd.’s headquarters and the client’s site, as determined by Google Maps, where our team performs the requested service or assessment.
